Lilly is available for adoption through the Fairfax County Animal Shelter in VA.
She’s a one year old pittie pup who was found tied up to a bench in a park just a few blocks from our local public shelter, unable to walk and crying in pain. The shelter contacted us asking us to take her, as she could not get the necessary care there. We agreed and rushed her to our emergency vet. The initial diagnosis is that something fractured one of the vertebrae in her neck very severely. She has lost all ability to stand, sit, walk or even use her legs at all. Total paralysis, but she has sensation so the doctors are hopeful that she can recover.
Please consider making a donation to Bully Project today to help us cover her exorbitant medical and recovery/rehabilitation costs.
Amelie is resting comfortably at the hospital and we will get to visit her today. She still can’t walk, but is being closely monitored for signs of improvement. Please help us help her by donating today:
Hi, I’m Baci. That’s bah-chee, it means “kisses” in Italian and I love to give them!
I was stuck in a shelter in Prince Georges County, MD where BSL kept me from being adopted. Luckily, City Dogs Rescue came along and got me out of there!
I’m looking for a home in the Washington, DC area. Check out more pictures and information about me here and apply to adopt me today!
fistfightkings said: i have a very similar photo like the one you posted on november 15 2011. mine will be posted october 1st at around noon. different cross portrait headstone, but at the same cemetery. anyway... thought that was neat.
Cool! St. Michael’s is the coolest cemetery ever. Just walking around in the daytime there was creepy. My great-great grandparents are supposedly buried there. I don’t live anywhere near it, but I hope to get back soon. Lots of good photo opportunities around Bethlehem!
